Trails and nature
Between Riomaggiore, Manarola, Groppo, and Volastra, the best way to explore nature is on foot: via panoramic trails, historic mule tracks, vineyard stairways, high-altitude routes, and paths connecting villages, sanctuaries, and terraces
This section helps you choose the route that best suits your time, fitness level and the kind of experience you want to enjoy: an easy sea-view walk, an itinerary through vineyards and rural villages, a panoramic climb towards the sanctuaries or a more challenging hike towards the Cinque Terre ridge.
Always check the latest trail conditions before setting off, wear suitable footwear and carry water with you, especially during the warmer months.
