The direct panoramic climb to the Sanctuary of Montenero.
A short but steep variant that climbs from Riomaggiore to the Sanctuary of Nostra Signora di Montenero. The route crosses stairways, urban sections, vineyards, dry-stone walls and Mediterranean scrub, offering open views over the sea and coast.
It is a good choice for those wishing to quickly reach one of the most striking viewpoints above Riomaggiore, but it requires fitness and care.

- Short but intense due to gradient and steps.
- It includes a section of about 200 metres on paved road along the SP370.
- Take care on damp ground, especially downhill!
